Ordered vegetables and rice. What I received was a bag of mixed vegetables you could have gotten at walmart cooked with onions and spices. I was very disappointed with my meal for the price I paid. The rice was good. It's a good thing my wife likes frozen mixed vegetables or I would have tossed it.
Excellent, authentic cuisine and fast, friendly service! Large portions and very affordable. So glad we stopped here to dine on our visit to Cottage Grove. Highly recommend this place!
Excellent spices and good service!
Really good food !
Best Indian food in southern Oregon. I travel all over California and get the opportunity to eat some amazing Indian food, most of what I have experienced in Oregon has left a lot to be desired, other than this place. Prices are good and the Butter chicken is phenomenal, not to be missed.
Stopped here on a road trip to the coast. Highly recommend the Butter Chicken! So good! Great Garlic Naan Bread. Very nice staff. Quick service. Cute transitional style.
Stopped on our road trip. it was Delicious, quick, AND they actually made it SPICY!!!! if we lived here we would go REGULARLY!
Delicious. I always stop here when I can
Wow. Amazing food & amazing service. What an awesome find! Very happy we ate here! Can’t wait to be back.
Good Indian food at very reasonable price. Good friendly folks.
Cosy place, good service, tasty food! Very close to the interstate so quite convenient. Highly recommend it!!!
It was the worst dhal soup I have ever eaten. Just water with 10 lentils on the bottom of the bowl. Terrible.
Delicious!
One of the best Indian food restaurants I've Came Upon
Oh. My. Lanta. The owners give you dirty looks as soon as you walk in... they have clothing out in the entrance, hanging in the kitchen. The pitcher of water was slightly brown, hair sticking out of it. Our shoes literally stuck to the floor. If I could post negative stars, I absolutely would. This place should be shut. the. heck. DOWN.
Another gem on I-5.Unique layout and interior. Typical North Indian style Panjabi taste. It’s a best kind of Indian food that you can have. It’s a family owned and run business. We tried Paneer Bhurji, Dal Makhani, Malai Kofta with Plain Paratha, Roti and Onion Nan.Everything was so delicious and mouthwatering. Service can be bit painful but consider that already in mind and you are good to go. You are going to eat more than you want.
Interesting place. The food was mediocre, the ambiance was too loud, and the TV had Indian news playing. The waiter who seated us and took our order, while decent and attentive, did not make up for the man who settled the bill and was unpleasant. The man who settled the bill (owner?) didn't honor the gift certificate, which had been purchased within the month we dined at the restaurant. I do not recommend.
Food was fresh and spicy; pricing great for generous portions. Interesting and tasty dessert selection. Decor was beautiful and unique. Service was pretty slow but perhaps that was because they were more focused on their takeout orders than the customers sitting in the restaurant. Genuine and kind people.
Went for the first time tonight the food was great we both got chicken dishes I asked for a recommendation and told her that I was good with spicy food and that’s what I got excellent recommendation highly recommend going here the prices are good the atmosphere is fun and I like the round building
This was my second visit, we ordered a lamb curry dish to share , the plain samosas, Kheer, Rose Lassi, and Mango Lassi with a side of tandoori noti. The Kheer was good, and the lassis were tasty however the rose Lassi tasted more like strawberry than anything. The samosas were good not the best I've had in Lane county but good. The lamb was so chewy we couldn't eat it really, we ( my husband and I) were able to pull apart a couple pieces into small enough pice a to at least eat a couple pieces, but the rest we just set aside and used the sauce on the rice wrapped in the Noti bread and made the best of it. The restaurant was very empty however it took a very long time to be served, or receive our ticket. The waiter was kind, they all were , however, that's not the point if why we went.. the first time I went I just got samosas and they were great, this time I don't think I'm coming back for a third time.
Flavor! This restaurant will not disappoint. Be prepared to feel like you are visiting another country, which is part of why I love it. The food is extremely flavorsome and satisfying. Sometimes their TV dominates the atmosphere, which is already different from mainstream: The dining area is to the side of a central structure. Think yurt. If you need something, they cannot see you beckon. You either get up for help or wait. That said, the service has always been attentive and very kind, although not always fluent in English. Make allowance for second language growth, and you will be pleased to grow accustomed to this delicious find. I return here as often as I can.
Superb . Awesome food and great hospitality . I m blessed to have this tasty food after a long trip . Love you guys .
The real deal. Great & distinct flavors in every dish, best naan, chai rocked, & service was kind, caring with a familiar family feeling. The historic home was icing on the cake. Officially a staple go to for life. A Gem!!! Thank you
Got Togo veggie korma. It was amazing, but you need to ask for a fork/spoon. 5 stars because the flavor of the rice and korma were top notch.
Excellent. Found Spice of India by chance when a big rain/hail storm hit me on what was supposed to be the last day of a two-week moto ride. It’s right next to the Quality Inn. Excellent food. Excellent customer service. Friendly young woman was very helpful and the food was superb. Thank you!
The Fantastic food makes up for subpar service and decor
Amazing food and great service!
Quirky building. Authentic Indian food. Just the right amount of spice. Fast service. Paneer Tikka Masala was great.
Great food, wonderful service.
Wonderful authentic Indian food. I had the sag paneer and it was spiced to perfection. The waiter was super polite and helpful. The round building that it is located in makes the dining experience much more fun. I highly recommend eating at Spice if India when you are in the area.
Great food. Comfortable dinning. Fast and friendly staff. I ordered the lamb Curry, spicy. It was delicious with the right amount of heat.
Excellent service, food was ready quickly, clean restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Bryani with Rice. It was really really good. Probably one of the best ive tried. Highly recommend.
This restaurant is the worst restaurant in the entire world its like they serve you cold food such as partha. You can find better service at dum place🤢🤮
Authentic and good Northern India cuisine.
The spice was incredible, best thing to get when passing through.
Our family of four enjoyed all the dishes served us. We shared everything and were full when done. Delightful Indian food at reasonable prices.
Biryani was delicious!
Perfect spot for truck drivers to get delicious food. I got butter chicken, rice and garlic nan. Costumer service isn’t bad but it could be worked on. They’re not rude or friendly. I love this place.
Very good food and taste 😋 Fish pakora was delicious
spice of indian all food very delicious
Clean good food not to expensive decent service
The food is delicious! They have the best Chai I've ever had in my life!
I absolutely LOVE this place, and visit every time I’m in Cottage Grove. I like my chicken vindeloo EXTREMELY spicy, and they never disappoint. The service is spectacular. The round building gives the whole place a super unique feel. If you enjoy Indian cuisine, don’t miss this place.
Chole bhathure was the best...
Fantastic authentic punjabi food. Very nice customer services and really delicious tasty food😍
Trying the spicy lamb curry. Very delicious. This is maybe my 4th or 5th time here. I actually missed it. Never disappoints!Next time I am interested in a dry chicken plate or eggplant dish. I'm excited!!!!
Delicious Indian food don't miss pratha combo
We were happy with our meal.. friendly owners.. priced right!
Food was served fresh and hot. They served it in a good time. Taste was also good and prices are reasonable. It needs little bit publicity :) . They made roti fresh with dough .. instead of reheating .. This made us a very good experience.
The best place to stop on a trip. I don't understand why people wait in lines for fast food when there is such great and healthy Indian food right here! Don't miss it in your trip!
